JPAM’s Bryon Lake has commented that ETF assets are set to double over coming years in his response to his firm’s global survey, with some unexpected findings on where the greatest growth may lie. Meanwhile, Vident Investment Advisory’s Denise Krisko, interviewed this week, comments that US ETF firms awaiting the SEC’s passing of the ETF Rule 6c-11 may have had an impact on net ETF issuance. The US ETF industry faces challenges, she says, not the least that it’s really hard to find something new under the sun and the costs of joining in are high. »
