April saw the global ETFs industry gather USD31.42 billion in net inflows
The global ETFs industry gathered USD31.42 billion in net inflows in April, bringing year-to-date net inflows to USD337.11 billion according to data provider ETFGI.
During April 2022, assets invested in the global ETFs industry decreased by 7.4 per cent, going from USD10.09 trillion at the end of March to USD9.34 trillion.
Assets have decreased 9.0 per cent YTD in 2022, going from USD10.27 trillion at end of 2021 to USD9.34 trillion, but the year to date inflows of USD337.11 billion are the second highest on record, after year to date net inflows in 2021 of USD464.60 billion.
The ETF industry has enjoyed USD1.16 trillion in net inflows in the past 12 months and April is the 35th month of consecutive net inflows. April saw equity ETPs experience USD1.75 billion in net outflows.
