Global ETF launches for 28th April to 5th May

It was a quiet week for ETF launches but the week that brought news of the first interest rate rise since May 2000 from the Federal Reserve in the US also brought three bond ETF launches.

Exposure to stagflation is now available through an ETF with the latest product from Merk, based on the performance of Solactive’s Stagflation Index. Stagflation, a period surging inflation, falling employment, and slowing or negative economic growth, brings opportunities, Solactive writes.

State Street and UBS were also in there with bond ETF launches, both offering sustainable and corporate bond ETFs.
