WisdomTree appoints UK Institutional Sales Director from the World Gold Council
WisdomTree, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) and exchange-traded product (ETP) sponsor, has appointed of Nilesh Parmar as Director of UK Institutional Sales.
In his role, Parmar will be responsible for driving WisdomTree’s sales and business development efforts across UK Institutional clients, primarily focusing on Asset Managers and Private Banks.
Parmar has extensive experience working in the investment management industry, joining WisdomTree from the World Gold Council where he was an Institutional Relationship Manager covering EMEA. In this role, Parmar worked with CIO teams at large asset management firms, making the case for making allocations to gold in investment portfolios and collaborated with global ETF providers to help generate flows into gold exchange traded commodities (ETCs).
Prior to joining the World Gold Council, Parmar held roles at Deutsche Bank and DWS where he spent five years as a UK & Ireland ETF Sales Manager for its X-Tracker ETFs brand.

Nilesh is the latest appointment following WisdomTree’s move from a physical office to a ‘remote-first’ approach. He joined WisdomTree on Monday, 1 March and reports into Ravi Azad, Head of UK and Nordic sales.
