Europe’s first and only white labeller, HANetf, is having quite the year, having hit well over USD2 billion in assets on the back of bitcoin and cannabis. Hector McNeil (pictured), co-founder and co-CEO of the firm has now announced that they have hired Manooj Mistry, former head of Index Investing at DWS.

“Nik and I have known Manooj since the early days of the European ETF industry and he is a real pioneer,” McNeil comments. “He will add significant experience and bandwidth to the leadership team at HANetf which will help in our ambitious growth plans. We are very excited to have him join at such an exciting time in the industry and company's development.”

Mistry was interviewed by ETF Express in 2019, when DWS Xtrackers ETPs broke through the EUR100 billion mark in assets under management, making them the second largest ETF manufacturer and promoter in Europe at the time, and the first Europe headquartered ETF business to achieve EUR100 billion in assets under management.
