TD Asset Management to waive a portion of the management fees on six of its broad market index ETFs

TD Asset Management is waiving a portion of the management fees on six of its broad market index TD Exchange-Traded Funds (TD ETFs), effective 21 October, 2020.

"At TDAM, we believe that our broad market index TD ETFs can be used as core building blocks in client portfolios by active managers or do-it-yourself investors alike," says Bruce Cooper, TDAM's Chief Executive Officer. "By waiving a portion of the management fees charged on these products, we continue to provide investors with excellent value and exposure to North American and Global broad market indices which can help further diversify and enhance investor portfolios," Cooper adds.

After these management fee waivers, the TD ETFs will be among the lowest priced broad market index exchange-traded funds in Canada. The six TD ETFs and corresponding net management fees, after the fee waiver, are: TD Canadian Aggregate Bond Index ETF (TDB) 0.08 per cent reduced to 0.07 per cent; TD Canadian Equity Index ETF (TTP) 0.05 per cent reduced to 0.04 per cent; TD US Equity Index ETF (TPU) 0.08 per cent to 0.06 per cent; TD US Equity CAD Hedged Index ETF (THU) 0.08 per cent to 0.06 per cent; TD International Equity Index ETF (TPE) 0.18 per cent to 0.17 per cent; and TD International Equity CAD Hedged Index ETF (THE) 0.18 per cent to 0.17 per cent.

"TDAM continues to provide investors with an expanded suite of exchange traded funds that capitalise on our expertise including actively managed funds, quantitative strategies, fixed income solutions and more recently, our three new TD One-Click ETF Portfolio asset allocation solutions," Cooper says. "As always, we strive to provide investors with high value exchange-traded funds backed by our expertise, depth of experience and competitively-priced solutions."
