Lyxor appoints new Head of Lyxor Deutschland

Lyxor has appointed Heike Fürpaß-Peter as Head of Lyxor International Asset Management SAS Deutschland (Lyxor Deutschland), effective 5 October. The appointment is subject to the relevant legal and regulatory approvals.

Previously Head of Lyxor ETF for Germany & Austria, Fürpaß-Peter will succeed Guillaume de Martel, who is taking new responsibilities within Societe Generale. In her new role, Fürpaß-Peter's focus will be to further expand Lyxor’s footprint in Germany, following last year’s integration of Commerzbank’s EMC asset management activities and the resulting combination of both entities’ teams and product ranges.

Based in Frankfurt am Main, Fürpaß-Peter will report to Lionel Paquin, CEO of Lyxor Asset Management, and to Guido Zoeller, Group Country Head Germany and Austria of Societe Generale.

Lionel Paquin, CEO of Lyxor Asset Management, says: “Lyxor Deutschland is a strong asset manager right at the heart of Europe, and Lyxor’s clients in the region can take advantage from a large and liquid ETF range, proven quantitative active investment strategies and a fast-growing alternative UCITS platform. Heike is a long-standing member of the Lyxor team in Frankfurt, and thanks to her in-depth knowledge of the German market and client base, she will be instrumental in further bolstering Lyxor’s footprint in the region.”
