BNP Paribas becomes market maker for Tabula
BNP Paribas has become a market maker for the fixed income ETF provider Tabula Investment management, further improving the bid-ask spread and overall liquidity of Tabula’s ETFs listed on Europe’s major exchanges.
“We are delighted that BNP Paribas has become a market maker for our growing range of fixed income ETFs. They are one of the biggest and most successful ETF market makers, and their platform and expertise will enable us to continue to deliver improved bid-ask spread and overall liquidity of our ETFs listed on Europe’s major exchanges,” says Tabula CEO Michael John Lytle.
BNP Paribas has a global ETF market making operation to support clients using ETFs. This, and its strong investment in technology and infrastructure, means it can provide liquidity at competitive prices across asset classes. BNP Paribas has a leading position in Europe in fixed income and is leveraging that expertise to grow its fixed income ETF market making activity through efficient execution and electronic quoting.
Tabula now has five funds providing liquid passive exposure to credit spreads, bonds and credit risk premia, with more already approved by the Irish Central Bank and further funds in the pipeline.
