WisdomTree appoints Head of UK and Nordic sales

WisdomTree, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) and exchange-traded product (ETP) sponsor, has appointed Ravinder (Ravi) Azad as Head of UK and Nordic sales.

In his role, Ravi will be responsible for driving WisdomTree’s sales and business development efforts across the UK and Nordics. This includes strategic planning, strengthening existing relationships, and broadening WisdomTree’s investor base.

 
Ravi has 20 years of experience in the investment management industry, having spent the last 12 years as UK ETF Business Development Director at Invesco ETFs. Ravi was responsible for building and developing the Invesco PowerShares business in the UK and its alternative weighted index strategies. Prior to that, he was part of the Invesco Perpetual Investment Trust sales team.
 
WisdomTree has further strengthened its UK sales team with the appointments of Sam Coppell and Cameron Trundle in sales support roles. Sam Coppell joins from BlackRock where he was an Asset Reconciliation Analyst. Cameron Trundle joins from Last Word Media where he was a Sales Manager.
 
The three new sales appointments joined WisdomTree on Monday, 13 January.
