Five exchange-listed index funds from the new issuer Ossiam Lux will be tradable on Xetra from Monday for the first time. Ossiam is a subsidiary of Natixis, the investment bank owned by French savings and cooperative banks. Ossiam offers index funds which are based on both quantitative and fundamental data. »

At the end of May 2011, the global ETF industry had 2,747 ETFs with 6,079 listings and assets of USD1,446.6bn, from 142 providers on 49 exchanges around the world, according to the latest data released by BlackRock. This compares to 2,218 ETFs with 4,411 listings and assets of USD1,044.1bn from 131 providers on 42 exchanges at the end of May 2010. »

Last week, total US ETP flows from all products registered USD10.1bn of inflows vs USD0.4bn of outflows the previous week, setting the YTD weekly flows average at +USD2.3bn, according to Deutsche Bank's US ETF market weekly review. US ETP AUM gained USD2.9bn, closing at USD1.056 trillion or 6.1% up YTD. »

There were USD83.2m net outflows from STOXX Europe 600 sector ETFs during the week ending 17 June 2011. The largest sector ETF net outflows last week were in healthcare with USD86.2m followed by oil and gas with USD64.4m net outflows while industrial goods and services experienced net inflows of USD67.3m. »

Deutsche Bank today announced the rebranding of five Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to join its recently launched db-X suite of products, doubling the number of ETFs offered under its “db-X” umbrella. The five funds, previously known as the TDX Independence Funds, are now known as the db-X Target Date Funds. »
