Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking has appointed Inès de Dinechin as Chief Executive Officer of Lyxor Asset Management. She replaces Laurent Seyer who will leave Societe Generale group to pursue other opportunities. This appointment will be effective as of the end of March 2012. »

Van Eck Global has appointed Imaru Casanova as the firm's Senior Gold Analyst. At Van Eck, she will serve as a member of the investment teams responsible for overseeing the International Investors Gold Fund (INIVX), the first gold mutual fund, which traces its roots back to 1968; Global Hard Assets Fund (GHAAX); and Van Eck VIP Global Hard Assets Fund, which collectively had USD6.6 billion in assets under management (AUM) as of December 31, 2011. Van Eck's hard assets investment team is now comprised of 12 members. »

ETF provider ProShares has appointed Stephen Sachs to the newly created role of head of capital markets. Sachs, most recently with Diamond Hill Capital Management, will oversee ProShares' Capital Markets Group. He reports to Steve Cohen, managing director and head of ProShares' Strategy Group. »
