Source expands marketing team

Exchange-traded product (ETP) provider Source has made three additions to its European marketing team.

John Hurley has joined the firm as director, marketing strategy; David Scales has joined as director, investment writer; and Brooke Petersen as associate, events. 
 
The appointments follow the recent additions to Source’s regional coverage teams and are part of the firm’s wider expansion to support continued strong growth in assets, investor base and geographical reach.
 
“As investment markets develop, so too do the needs and expectations of our investors,” says Michael John Lytle, chief development officer. “The way in which they access information is also changing, and John’s experience will be valuable in co-ordinating our marketing strategy, including through digital media.  Likewise, we appreciate that investors’ time is valuable and often in short supply.  Brooke will help us ensure events are investor-centred and differentiated from the rest of the market.
 
“It is also worth noting that, even though growth has been strong, the ETP market in Europe is still relatively young.  As our investor base grows, we are attracting a more diverse array of people, with different degrees of experience and knowledge. The additional writing resource will enable us to continue producing high quality material that is timely and targeted, and I believe that David’s straightforward and engaging style of writing should help us reach a wider audience.”
