Amundi launches ETF tracking MSCI Europe Ex-Financial index
Amundi ETF has launched an exchange-traded fund designed for investors seeking to take positions on the European equity market without exposure to financials.
The ETF provides investors with exposure to European equities excluding the financial sectors: banks, insurance, real estate and diversified financials.
Unique in Europe and with a TER of only 0.30 per cent, the ETF’s underlying index comprises more than 330 constituents covering 80 per cent of the MSCI Europe index but with lower volatility.
Against a background of volatile international markets, Amundi ETF now offers investors several solutions according to their expectations for the performance of financial stocks. Within the range, two sector ETFs tracking MSCI Europe Banks and MSCI Europe Insurance already exist, providing exposure to European banks and insurance companies. Complementary to these products, this new ETF offers exposure to non-financial European equities.
Valérie Baudson (pictured), managing director of Amundi ETF, says: “This latest launch is perfectly in line with our wish to offer investors a complete range of solutions to manage their asset allocation according to their views.”
