FactorShares has filed a prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the launch of three mining-related exchange-traded funds under the Pure Funds brand.

The ETFs, which will all be listed on the NYSE Arca, are PureFunds ISE Diamond/Gemstone ETF, PureFunds ISE Mining Service ETF and PureFunds ISE Junior Silver (Small Cap Miners/Explorers) ETF.

As indicated by their names, the funds will all be based on indexes from ISE – namely the ISE Gemstone Index, the ISE Mining Services Index, and the ISE Junior Silver Miners Index.

Each will seek to replicate the performance of its underlying index by investing at least 80 per cent of its total assets in the relevant securities American depositary receipts and global depositary receipts.
