AdvisorShares, a sponsor of actively managed exchange-traded funds, has announced August 2012 income distributions for ETFs that pay monthly dividends.

Shareholders of record on 29 August 2012 will receive cash distributions paid on 31 August in the following amounts:

Madrona Global Bond ETF (FWDB) – USD0.0495/per share
Peritus High Yield ETF (HYLD) – USD0.3721/per share

For non-resident alien (NRA) shareholders who are normally subject to a 30 per cent (or lower tax treaty rate depending on the country) NRA withholding tax on ETF dividend income and short-term capital gain dividends, unless such dividends are designated as exempt from NRA withholding tax, 91.74 per cent of the Peritus High Yield ETF distribution and 60.71 per cent of the Madrona Global Bond ETF distribution has been designated as exempt.
