ETP turnover remains above 10% of equity market activity

In a relatively quiet market, reported ETP turnover remained above 10% of equity market activity last week, with GBP9.7bn assets changing hands, according to Lyxor.
Commodity ETFs saw turnover fall by almost a third (31.5%), while Style related products, particularly those with a dividend focus, were the only area to see turnover increase (by 34.9%).
On a 20 day basis Lyxor was ranked number two with 19.36% market share with iShares at number one with market share of 35.62%.
On a five-day basis Lyxor was ranked number 2 with 18.95% market share, iShares market share on a five-day basis was 39.52%.
The Deutsche Boerse had the largest market share on both a five-day and 20 day basis with 29.90% market share on a 20 day basis and 29.71% on a 5 day basis. The LSE follows with market share of 27.77% on a 20 day basis and 27.68% on a 5 day basis.
