Saxo Modern Wealth Management, the online investment specialist, has launched a Model Portfolio service designed to help mid to long term self-directed retail investors build diverse investment portfolios through funds, unit trusts or exchange-traded funds.

The Model Portfolios are now accessible to all clients as an integral part of the Saxo MWM platform.

A specially designed tool, Ideator, helps clients determine their general risk profile. The Model Portfolios are then independently selected, by Morningstar Investment Consultants, to match the Ideator profiles. Clients have the choice to invest in the Model Portfolios as they are or make changes to suit their investment goals.

The portfolios can be accessed via ISA and SIPP accounts which are provided by European Pensions Management as well as through general investment accounts on the MWM platform.

Investors who are not yet clients of Saxo MWM can view descriptions and examples of fund portfolios on the website (http://www.modernwealthmanagement.co.uk).
