Stock-Trak, a provider of virtual trading applications, is co-sponsoring the Horizons Exchange Traded Funds Biggest Winner Contest, an ETF trading challenge being run on Stock-Trak’s trading platform in partnership with Stockhouse.com and Horizons Exchange Traded Funds Inc (Horizons ETFs).

Launched as an educational initiative, the Biggest Winner Contest which can be found at http://thebiggestwinner.stocktrak.com, will introduce Canadian investors, who participate, to the world of ETF investing in a simulated environment. Registration is free and open to all Canadian citizens who have reached the age of majority.

A first in the Canadian market, the Biggest Winner Contest gives participants a CAD100,000 in virtual funds and eight weeks to practice trading the Horizons ETFs family of ETFs. The Biggest Winner Contest started 10 April, 2012 and runs through to May 31, 2012.

The Biggest Winner Contest features a grand prize of CAD5,000 to the winner and weekly prizes of CAD500.  “With the recent volatility in the stock markets and the breadth of the Horizons ETFs offerings, ETF trading is sure to be exciting and the competition fierce,” says Mark T Brookshire (pictured), Founder of Stock-Trak, Inc.

As the world’s leading portfolio simulation provider, Stock-Trak’s virtual trading platform is also used by banks, brokerage and media companies world wide. “With over 50 major international clients to our credit, we are thrilled to be working with Horizons ETFs as their virtual trading platform on this project as it has brought us to a whole new level.
