Amundi lists 15 ETFs on Borsa Italiana

Amundi ETF has listed 15 equity exchange-traded funds on Borsa Italiana.

This series will be followed by several further listings within the next few months.

Among the 15 ETFs listed on Borsa Italiana, seven are unprecedented in Italy and eight have lower management fees than their competitors.

The series consists of:

• Six ETFs that allow investors to benefit from an exposure to the major developed markets - Eurozone, Europe, US and Asia - in a single transaction.
• Three ETFs that offer exposure to the Chinese, Indian and Central European emerging markets, two of which are unprecedented on Borsa Italiana.
• Six leveraged and short ETFs, four of which are unprecedented on Borsa Italiana.

Valérie Baudson (pictured), managing director of Amundi ETF, says: "Our entry into the Italian market, acknowledged as one of the most competitive in Europe, represents a key stage in our development strategy. We are able to offer Italian investors an increasingly comprehensive product range supported by three core strengths which characterize our toolbox: competitive prices, quality products and continuous innovation."

Pietro Poletto, head of the ETFplus market, adds: "We are pleased to welcome to the first Amundi ETFs of our market that, leveraging the experience gained in its domestic market, offer to Italians clients the possibility to invest in the major developed stock markets and emerging markets as well as in leveraged and short ETFs. Amundi enters in expanding market with innovative products and with trading volumes and assets under management in large and steady increase.”

The Amundi ETF range is distributed by dedicated sales teams at CA Cheuvreux and Amundi.
