NYSE Euronext has announced the implementation of an online 'screener' for exchange traded products on its US and European markets.

The tool enables users to search for exchange traded funds and notes, warrants and certificates by classification, keyword, symbol and other search terms.

The product screener on NYSE Arca, NYSE Euronext's wholly-owned US electronic market, allows users of the Exchange's website to search for an ETF or an exchange traded note by keyword or symbol, or filter by issuer and classification.

The European product screener enables users to identify the products according to their profit and loss characteristics within the broad structured products landscape, classifying products by risk level.

Lisa Dallmer of exchange traded products and global indexes, NYSE Euronext, says: 'The online product screeners enhance our service to investors and issuers in the continuously evolving exchange traded product space, giving greater visibility to the diversity of issuers and investment exposure. These web tools also are indicative of the scale and scope of our exchange traded products business, in which our leading position enables us to develop and offer innovative, technology-based services to customers and constituents.'

The product screener on NYSE Arca is available free of charge to users of the Exchange's website, where users can scan and observe NYSE Arca-listed exchange traded products as well as those that trade on NYSE Arca on an unlisted trading privilege basis.

The European product screener offers similar functions to search warrants and certificates listed and traded on NYSE Euronext markets in Europe.
